Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented person to join our team. The Construction intern will gain hands-on experience in the construction industry, work alongside seasoned professionals, and contribute to various projects from planning to execution. This is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates looking to build their skills and knowledge in construction management and project coordination.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist project managers and site supervisors with daily tasks and project coordination.
- Participate in job site meetings and take notes on discussions, action items, and project updates.
- Help with the preparation of project documentation, including plans, schedules, and progress reports.
- Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to facilitate project workflow.
- Assist in maintaining accurate project records.
- Observe and learn about various construction processes, techniques, and technologies.
- Perform additional administrative tasks as needed to support the team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in construction management, business administration, architecture, or a related field.
- Strong interest in the construction industry and willingness to learn.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Basic knowledge of construction processes, safety protocols, and relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project) is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and take initiative on tasks.
- Must be able to work on-site and comply with safety requirements.
